Sacred Breathwork is a guided breathing journey which was born from the core Pranayama techniques and accompanied by Integral Sound Healing. If you can breath, you can enjoy the benefits and bliss from focused breathwork.
Everyone is different and requires different breathing techniques depending on their personal health and breathwork goals; and all are welcome! Each session will include different breathwork techniques based upon the intention of the session. Deep Dive session is inspired by the most revered Pranayama technique called Nishessha Rechaka Kumbhaka which is a form of intermittent hypoxia created through breath retention.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical Sacred Breathwork Session includes gentle movement, sound, vocal toning/chanting, and guided rhythmic breath sequencing.
~ Sessions are 1 hour.
~ Please arrive 15 minutes early to get comfortable
~ Refrain from food 1 hour before
WHAT TO BRING
~ Water bottle filled with cool water (not ice water)
~ Yoga mat or blanket
~ Optional: zafu or bolster to sit upon
~ Optional: journal and pen
~ Your open mind and loving heart

Before your Breathwork session, Theresa will speak with you confidentially via phone (or privately before class) to discuss cautions or contraindications. The coherence techniques and gentle breath retention (which do not cause hypoxia) are safe for anyone.
