What's the cancellation policy?
Please do not come if you suspect you may be sick! Please call/text as soon as you can. 815-403-3505. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice so that I may fill your session time with another client. "No-Call / No-Shows" will be charged the full session fee.
I've never had a massage...what should I wear?
Sacred Sole Barefoot and Swedish massage sessions are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you should undress to your level of comfort. Please know that you will be professionally draped with a sheet/blanket during your entire session, and only the parts of your body being worked will be uncovered. As a comparison, you likely expose more of your body at the beach than you do on the massage table!
Are There Any Medical Conditions That Would Make Massage Inadvisable?
Yes. That's why it's imperative that, before we begin your session, I'll have you fill out a form and we will talk about general health questions. It is very important that you inform of any health conditions or medications you are taking. Certain medical conditions may require a discussion with your doctor...and as always, if I'm not the best practitioner for you, I will help you find a referral to someone that specializes in the type of bodywork that will help you most.
Do you work on clients younger than 18?
No. I have chosen to dedicate my practice to working exclusively with adult clients age 18 and older. I can offer a referral to a massage therapist that works with pediatric clients.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover....but local checks and cash are preferred.
Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates stopped being sold in 2018. However, if you have a valid gift certificate from years ago, please know that I honor its face value. Gift Certificates subject to all scheduling and cancellation policies. Gift Certificates are not refundable and not redeemable for cash.
